2007 Field Day

Field Day 2007 was an excellent year for the Lake Area Radio Klub. We had great participation, super weather, and excellent propogation and operating conditions. After some discussion about choosing a new location, we decided to again operate from City Park on Lake Kampeska.

LARK operated 3A (three stations on alternate power). We made CW and SSB contacts on 40/20/15/10 meters, along with a VHF/UHF station for satellite operation, and made serveral contacts on OSCAR satellites.

This year we also had several members from the Aberdeen radio club that came to help out. It was so nice to have the extra hands and operators (and company).

Although our official score has not yet been tallied, Joe, KKØSD and Field Day Chairman, has estimated our score at 3600 points!
