Once again, LARK assisted with radio communications for the Lake Poinsett Triathlon. The athletes swam in the lake, rode bike around the lake, then ran a short distance before crossing the finish line. This year, LARK made use of our new split site repeater that was received from Hamlin County. The repeater worked perfectly and setup time was very minimal. We also used APRS to track the position of the last biker around the lake.
This year's triathlon was the same day as the Hospital Hill Run, so LARK had operators in both locationis.
