Lake Area Radio Klub (WØWTN) Hamlin County Project

LARK has been given a generous donation by Hamlin County Emergency Management of a 40-foot crank-up tower, several antennas, one HF radio, one VHF radio, and two VHF/UHF dualband radios. LARK may use the equipment for all of our regular yearly events. In return, we will provide emergency backup communications for Hamlin County.

LARK members have decided to mount the crank-up tower on a trailer for ultimate portability. We will plan to use this new tower trailer in addition to our existing monopole antenna trailer. Specifically, this configuration was chosen so that we could set up an emergency split-site repeater, eliminating the need for duplexers.
