Little House on the Prairie Special Event Station


The Lake Area Radio Klub operated W0WTN from DeSmet, SD in conjuction with the "Little House on the Prairie" pagent held there. This was a team effort with the Huron Amateur Radio Club of Huron, SD. The special event station was a smashing success!! with 377 contacts being made!

The tribander used on 20 meters yield the greatest number of contacts.
Kevin, KB0UZJ (on the mic) and Laurel, KB8HMR (back turned) working a pile up on 20 meters.

6 meters added some excitement and provided a fair number of contacts as well!
